About this program: In this one-hour session for Moore School alumni and friends, we’ll place today’s AI moment in historical context, clarify what large language models and AI agents really are (and are not), and discuss where the technology is headed next. The program will feature live demonstrations of practical, real-world use cases and conclude with clear strategies for building your AI proficiency.

Expert-led AI Building — Hands-On Workshop
About this program: AI is changing how businesses operate. This full-day workshop shows you exactly how to put it to work — in your marketing, your operations, and your day-to-day decisions. The workshop also addresses one of the most pressing challenges professionals face today: how to use AI effectively while protecting sensitive, confidential and proprietary information. This isn’t a lecture. You’ll work directly with AI tools throughout the day and leave with things you can use immediately.
Bring a laptop. No technical background required.
Participants will leave with:
- a clearer understanding of what generative AI can and cannot do well
- practical use cases relevant to their role or organization
- effective prompting and workflow strategies you can use right away
- best practices for using AI while protecting data privacy, confidential data, and proprietary information
- experience creating a custom AI assistant for a business purpose
