Timothy W. Koch (Ph.D. Purdue University, 1976) is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at USC, having taught at USC from 1987 to 2018.  He is the author of a textbook, Bank Management, published by Thomson South-Western, and a book, General Banking, used in state banking schools. In addition, he has authored articles which have appeared in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Futures Markets, National Tax Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, Business Economics, Journal of Bank Research, Journal of Portfolio Management, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Fixed Income, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of Commercial Bank Lending, Municipal Finance Journal, Journal of International Money and Finance, and others. His current research interests include the pricing of fixed income securities and derivatives, bank management, and banking structure. He has served as a consultant to financial institutions and is the President of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
