Some programs refresh foundational knowledge. Others help you build entirely new capabilities. All of them meet you where you are.

LLL offerings include both free and fee-based sessions delivered in formats that fit the demands of the material and your busy schedule — including multi-day in-person workshops, live online sessions, and lunch or breakfast “LearnMoore” events hosted in a city near you.

Successful completion of fee-based programs provides a certificate of completion.

Expert faculty: These workshops will be led by Drs. Özgür (Oz) İnce and Joel Wooten, two of the leading experts on AI at the Darla Moore School of Business. As members of the school’s AI Committee, they have helped lead the efforts to transform the business school’s AI curriculum and develop the next generation of business leaders. Both are award-winning teachers known for engaging, immersive, hands-on instruction featuring cutting edge AI tools.

AI 101 — What It Is and What It Can Do for You

About this program: In this one-hour session for Moore alumni, we’ll place today’s AI moment in historical context, clarify what large language models and AI agents really are (and are not), and discuss where the technology is headed next. The program will feature live demonstrations of practical, real-world use cases and conclude with clear strategies for building your AI proficiency.

AI for Business — Hands-On Workshop

About this program: Designed for professionals who want to move from awareness to application, this hands-on workshop focuses on practical, business-relevant uses of AI. Participants will build a strong understanding of today’s AI tools and learn how to apply them to real business workflows in communication, analysis, research, planning, and productivity.

Attendees should bring a laptop and be ready to work directly with AI tools throughout the day.

Participants will leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of what generative AI can and cannot do well
  • practical use cases relevant to their role or organization
  • effective prompting and workflow strategies
  • guidance on responsible use and risk awareness
  • experience creating a custom AI assistant for a business purpose
  • a concrete plan for implementation
